Mrs G. C. Clark returned to her home at Otakiri on Tuesday after several weeks in hospital.
Mrs W. Rowan has returned to Whakatane from a visit to Hamurana Springs.
Mr W. Rowan, who has just completed a deep sea fishing holiday at Te Kaha has returned to Whakatane.
The Mayor, Mr B. S. Barry, and the town clerk, Mr L. D. Lovelock, are at present attending, the Municipal Association’s annual conference at Auckland. They are expected back at Whakatane during 'the week-end. «
