Synthetic mica having essentially the same properties as natural mica has been produced in the United States. Mica is used extensively in the electrical and electronics fields.
More than 5,000 international fellowships, scholarships, and grants-in-aid are provided by private and government agencies in the United States. These help students from other lands to study in the United States and U.S. citizens to study abroad.
