Miss P. Stanley, Ohope, is at present holidaying at Auckland.
Miss Betty Ward, Whakatane, is at present holidaying in Hawke’s Bay.
Miss Julie Morice, James Street, Whakatane, leaves soon for Wellington to take up dental nursing.
Mrs K. Rangi, who paid a short visit to Whakatane on Friday, has now returned to her home at New Plymouth.
Mrs Wyber, of Invercargill, is at present staying with her sister, Mrs A. W. White, Merritt Street, Whakatane.
Mrs Laloli, well-known Valley Road resident, left Whakatane at the week-end for her new home at Takapuna, Auckland.
Colonel A. C. R. Waite, M.C., Deputy Chairman of the Austin Motor Export Corporation will visit New Zealand this month to learn at first hand the conditions prevailing in the Dominion as far as exports are concerned. He will hold a Distributors’ Conference at Auckland.
