WAIKATO HAS BIG WIN OVER BAY OF PLENTY

Losing by 24 matches to three Bay of Plenty proved no match for a strong Waikato team when they were defeated in a representative tennis match at Hamilton on Saturday. Waikato had one of its strongest teams playing, including the! men Wilding Shield representatives. There were three Whakatane players in the Bay team, Miss M. Hall, Mrs M. Bridger and P. Bryers. '
