Surf Lifesaving

TEAMS TO COMPETE AT WAIHI >

Teams from the Whakatane Surf Club will be taking part in the final surf life saving carnival of the year to be held at Waihi on Sunday. Clubs from all over the Auckland Province as well as Gisborne are expected to be present and competition will probably be very high. The Whakatane representatives will consist of the New Zealand champion women’s team and a men’s team. The party will leave Waihi on Saturday and return after events on Sunday.
