Show Broadcast
The Whakatane-Rangitaiki Agricultural and Pastoral Society’s Show at Whakatane on Saturday, was the third summer show to be broadcast in fhe Bay of Plenty. The other two were shows at Te Puke and Opotiki the previous week. Broadcasting was done by landline to the Rotorua studios of IYZ and then transmitted in the usual way. The winter show at Whakatane last year was the first show to be actually broadcast.
