MOTOR CYCLE RACING

would like to voice my appreciation through your columns of the wonderful racing put on during the week-end by your local Motor Cycle Club. If I knew the secretary’s name and address I would thank him personally. We are on .our way home to Wellington after camping at Ohope Beach and the motor cycle racing was a grand finale to our holiday. We are regular attenders at the Hutt speedway but we have never seen anything to compare with the fine racing put on by your Club. Also, we were very impressed by *the fine sportsmanship that existed during the races, especially when one rider took a nasty spill which looked most serious and the following rider exerted all his skill to avoid the fallen rider and machine and after so doing came back to see if the fallen rider was uninjured as happily he was. May the Club prosper and put on the same good shows that we witnessed on Sunday. Yours etc., , SPEED FAN. Lower Hutt, February 27.
