Art Demonstration To Kowhai W.I.

An interesting demonstration of floral art by Mrs B. Johnson gave much useful information to the monthly meeting of the Kowhai Women’s Institute at Whakatane, presided over by Mrs Cooper. Competition winners:—

Hospital box, Miss Richardson 1, Mrs Herbison 2; hand-made face cloth, Miss Richardson 1, Mrs Herbison 2. A lucky number competition was won by Mrs Stenhouse. Hostesses were Mesdames Sullivan, Grace, Thatcher and Miss G. Sutcliffe.
