Pepper Scarce Pepper in any quantity is hard to buy at Whakatane at the present time. A State Forestry Department aeroplane observed the fire from the air.
No Pony Club Class ! It has been agreed that there will be no special Pony Club classes at this year’s A. and P. Show at Whakatane, but entrants for children's events are to be asked whether or not they are Pony Club members, so that A. and P. officials will be able to guage Pony Club strength with a view to the possible inclusion of special classes in future.
