Sport Discussed By Wainui Y.F.C.
Summer sports, debates and a court at the Waikato winter show were subjects discussed at the monthly meeting of the Wainui Y.F.C.
It was decided to approach the Taneatua club and issue a challenge tennis match while Waimana and Opotiki are to be approached with a view to holding cricket matches. Three members of the club, H. White, D. Herdman and C. Burke volunteered to take part in the stock judging competition to be held on Mr G. Yeoman’s • farm, Opouriao, this month. One ijew member was enrolled.
