Bay Fertiliser And Freezing Works Plan

Two probable developments which would in time surely occur in the Bay of Plenty area, said Mr J. D. Alach, chairman of the Tauranga Harbour Board recently, were the establishment of fertiliser and freezing works. Both these projects would need full co-operation from all districts in the Bay and from all sections of the community.

The question of a fertiliser works was. considered Mr Alach, one that would eventuate in .the near future. The freezing works project might not come along for some years, but the matter would have to be seriously considered.
