Joint Meat & Wool Economic Service
To serve the interests of the sheep industry of the Dominion the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board and the New Zealand Wool Board have jointly established an Economic Service. Its main purpose will be to provide facts on the industry to assist the two Boards.
The direction of the Economic Service will be the responsibility of a Joint Committee of six members—Messrs W. W. Mulholland, G. H. Grigg and H .D. Cooper representing the Meat Board, and Messrs A. Briscoe Moore, J. Acland and C. H. Bethell representing the Wool Board. Mr Mulholland is chairman of the committee and Mr Moore is deputy-chairman. As Executive Officer, to administer the operations of the Service, the committee has appointed Mr R. H. Bevin, who was for many years a senior lecturer at the Lincoln College, Canterbury.
