UNITED DRAWS WITH ROTORUA TEAM Wljakatane United retained the William’s Cup in a cricket match on Saturday when they resisted a strong challenge from the R.S.A. Club (Rotorua), the game ending in a draw. United won the toss and elected to bat, with two wickets down for 46, McKenzie and Alexander were asociated in a partnership worth 53 runs. Alexander was bowled for 22 and Le Pine joined McKenzie. The pair added another 130 runs in quick time before McKenzie retired after reaching his century. This is his second century in consecutive innings, both being undefeated. Le Pine was bowled at 90.
