Rabbiters Achieve Good Results
“With the long dry period we have been able to poison a large area of country and results have been good,” said Mr C. H. Davis, inspector, in his report to < the monthly meeting of the Pongakawa Rabbit Board. During the month a total of 25,600 acres, had been poisoned and 17,300 acres fumigated. “Rabbits 'had been taking poison freely throughout the country, and most of the old area is in good order with very few rabbits showing,” he added.
