Manawahe W.I. Holds Monthly Meeting
Mrs J. Bowden presided over a small attendance at the monthly meeting of thejjManawahe Women’s Institute.
It was agreed that the Institute hold a stall at the forthcoming district sports meeting. Despite the dry weather there was a good display of flowers. Results of competitions Sponge '(with butter), Mrs R. King 1* (without butter), Mrs Bowden 1; best bloom, Mrs King 1, Mrs Bowden 2; vegetable, Mrs Bowden 1, Mrs King 2; shrub, Mrs King and Mrs A. Rendall 1 equal, Mrs Bowden 2.
