Mobile Fencing
A system o"f portable pylons on which electric fencing may be mounted has been evolved by an English farmer. This system has been taken over by a commercial organisation which is marketing the fence. The pylons consist of light, strong triangular-shaped frames mounted on circular bases, each weighing about six and a half pounds. The circular bases prevent the pylons from yielding to pressure and enable vertical standing on field surfaces. Each pylon is fitted with a new quick-fix unbreakable insulator adjustable in height. With the pylons spaced at 10 to 20yard intervals it is claimed that 150 yards of fencing may be erected or moved in five minutes.
