Second Maori Celebrations

The second of the Dominion-wide celebrations to mark the 600th anniversary of the arrival of the Maoris to New Zealand is to be held at Gisborne on February 25 and will be attended by the Minister for Maori Affairs, the Hon E. B. Corbett. The first of such celebrations was held at Te Kaha recently and attracted Maori and Pakeha visitors from all over New Zealand.
