Flying Goldfish
Mrs Walker, of Bristol, heard a curious, rustling noise one night in her bedroom; put on the light, and saw in the empty fireplace, a live, sooty, six inches long goldfish—which had apparently arrived there from heaven. Possible explanation is that a bird snatched the fish out of a pond, flew over Mrs Walker’s house and then dropped it down the chimney; but that sounds almost as odd as the goldfish flying there of its own accord.
