Two State Houses Nearing Completion
The last two houses of the first 12 built in the new State house block in Tuhoe Avenue, Whakatane, have been completed by the carpenters and are now waiting to be finished off by the painters. These two buildings, one a two bedroomed house and the other a three bedroomed, should be ready for occupation soon. In the same street a further block of eight are now in the process of erection and all have been roofed. The contractors are now working to finish the outside wall boarding oh each house. f
