Beats Farmin!
A farmer visiting a mental hospital came upon an inmate sprawled restfully under the shade of a tree. After a word of greeting the man sat up and eyed his visitor with interest. “What do you do for a living?” he finally asked. “I’m a farmer.” “Farmer, huh? I used to be a farmer. Darned hard work.” “Sure is,” agreed the visitor. “Ever try being crazy?” t “Why, no,” the shocked farmer replied. “You ought to try it sometimes,” declared the inmate as he again relaxed in the cool grass. “Beats farmin’.”
