All-Round Prescription
The old-timer was musing over the free medical prescription scheme.
“It may have its faults,” he confided to the above at the club. “But if. could never be as free as a prescription a friend of mine once had. After it was made up he got it back from the chemist. For two years he used it as a pass on the railways; he got into dances and theatres with it, and it ended up at home, where his daughter practised it on the piano.”
