National Party Dance At Murupara

A large and happy crowd gathered in the Whirinaki Hall at Murupara on Wednesday night to enjoy a dance run by the local branch of the National Party. This was by way of being a combined Victory and Xmas dance and proved to be a great success. As well as a plentiful and tempting home-made supper there were soft drinks and ice cream on sale and the ice cream remaining was disposed of with a lively American auction.

Music was provided by a local Maori orchestra, Mr Ringi’s, and Mr P. Walsh acted as M.C. for the evening.
