Impromptu Sing-Song On Beach

An impromptu bonfire and singsong was held on the beach by a large party of Ohope campers on Monday night.

With piano aqcordion, Mr G. McAlpine capably supplied the music and Mr Wally Gooch made an excellent master of ceremonies and song leader. The children were regaled with soft drinks and the adults had their share later. This unusual festivity on the beachsattracted a large number of spectators who were quickly absorbed into the party,, which went with a swing until a late hour.
