Santa Claus Visits Ohope Children

The last meeting of the Ohope Women’s Institute for the year was held at Ohope camp ground when Mrs White presiding over a fair attendance, and Mrs Stevenson acted as secretary. The children’s Christmas party, which was a combined effort by the Institute and the Ohope Progress League, was a fine success, the committee making every endeavour to make the party a memorable one. . Santa Claus was piped in by Mgster Peter Marryatt and the children gathering round gave him a rousing welcome. After receiving their gifts a delicious supper was served.
