Camping Grounds Now Well Booked
Campers from many parts of the country are now beginning to drift into the camping grounds and pici nic spots about Whakatane for the holidays. Both grounds at Ohope have been well booked until well into January and provide further proof of the growing popularity of the beach as a holiday resort Baches are commanding high rentals-
.At Whakatane itself the new camp ground at Eivers Beach 1 is nearing completion and will soon be available for picnic and camping parties. Hotels are well booked out by people who wish to spend Christmas and New Year at Whakatane or, in this district.
