Tauranga-Opotiki Air Feeder Service Commences Next Year
A feeder air service from Tauranga to Opotiki is to be commenced by National Airways early in the new year twice weekly and will provide travellers in the Eastern Bay of Plenty through air travel to most parts of New Zealand. The itinerary is to provide for a plane to leave Tauranga on Mondays at 6.50 a.m. ; for Opotiki, departing soon after the arrival at 7.40 a.m. It will arrive at Tauranga' at 8.20 a.m. where it will connect with the National Airways plane, which will depart for Auckland at 8.45 a.m.
On Thursday the plane will leave Tauranga at 3.30 p.m. immediately following the arrival of the airways plane and will arrive at Opotiki at 4.10 p.m. and will then return to Tauranga the same afternoon*
