GAMES FOR AND SUNDAY A return game with Putaruru will be played by the United Cricket Club at Whakatane tomorrow and will' open cricket in the area for the week-end. In an earlier game this season United defeated Putaruru on their home ground and tomorrow’s game will give the losr ers an opportunity to strike even again. ... The second round of the cricket competition will continue on Sunday. The leaders so far, P. and T., are to play Te Teko at Whakatane while the secopd team in the competition, Edgecumbe is to play Waimana at Edgecumbe. Taneatua has the bye.
