Au Revoir, But Maybe Not Good-bye
Expressing the Rotary Club’s good wishes to Rotarian I. B. Hubbard, who is leaving Whakatane after his retirement at the end of this year, Rotarian, H. G. Warren on Tuesday night described the departing member as a “good Rotarian,” and one who had done his best to translate the Rotary ideals into practice. He said he understood Mr Hubbard proposed to go to England, and expressed the hope that he would visit Rotary Clubs there.,, However, his friends hoped he would ultimately come back and settle in his cottage at Ohope.
