Candidate Second In N.Z. In Typing Exam

Successful candidates who sat the Public Service Shorthand and Typing examination at Whakatane last month have been announced for both the junior and senior sections. They f were:— i ‘Senior: Pauline O. Stewart. Junior: Elizabeth M. Goodall, Pauline O. Stewart, Betty J. Taylor. Miss Pauline Stewart, who was awarded 98 per cent in the junior section, gained second place in the examination for the Dominion among the 179 candidates who sat in the area outside Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. /
