Miss Verna Head, youngest daughter of Mr C. A. Head, James Street, y Whakatane, is marrying Mr T. McCarthy, formerly of the Bank ofAustralasia, Whakatane, in Adel-' aide tomorrow. Miss Head has been a visitor to Australia for the six months. 4 „ ri Evangelist A. G. Ratcliffe, the ' Seventh-day Adventist Minister at Whakatane, has left with his family to attend the Seventh-day Adven- -i tist Convention at Palmerston North, which will commence on January 5. Mr Ratcliffe is one of 33 - adventist ministers who will pre- ' l ' pare the camp ground for the eonvention. - s' , —
