Te Teko Red Cross

The Te Teko Sub-Centre of the Red Cross Society had its final meeting for the year at Mrs Thomas’ home. Mrs L. B. Smith presided over a fair attendance. The report on the recent flower show was discussed—members being well satisfied with the financial result. A vote' of thanks was passed to those men who gave their assistance. The meeting decided to give £2O to the Disaster Relief Fund, also £25 for Food for Britain. It is hoped to start next year’s activities with a garden party at Mrs Smith’s residence.
