Livening Interest In Pony Club

With more settled weather and the annual meetings over there is ample evidence of quickening interest in Pony Club affairs. Yesterday’s rally of the Whakatane branch at the Domain drew an attendance which has been bettered in the past but with every sign of more keenness if possible than that which marked the opening rallies. Now that the young riders are getting onto more advanced work, it is posible to run more competitive games without danger of accidents, while the appointment of more instructors leaves some of the adults free to conduct the beginners’ classes. Though there are still not enough for each learner who does not own a pony to ride one all day, there are always some quiet ones available to give the beginners a start, and every young member can get some riding practice.
