Crippled Children’s Concert
Preliminary organisations work for the concert in aid of the Crippled Children’s Society on December 6 is going on well under the sponsorship of the Whakatane Rotary Club. There will be 2-1- hours of entertaining variety, sketches, humour, music and dancing all being contributed by local talent. A donation to the Society’s funds of £lO from the Whakatane branch of the Carpenters’ Union has been acknowledged.
