Holidays During Christmas Period
Christmas day this year and New Year’s day both fall on a Sunday and clarification of the holidays to be observed have now been obtained. Christmas Day will be observed for holiday purposes on Monday, December *26, and New Year’s Day on Monday, January 2.
Boxing Day will be Tuesday, December 12. /
The observance of January 2 as a holiday depends entirely on individual awards?* Should the award refer to January as “the day following New Year’s Day” then that date should be observed on January 3.
