Matata W.I. Holds Twentieth Birthday

Decorated bowls and posies created a festive air for the 20th birthday party of the Matata Women’s Institute when visitors were present from, a large number of sister institutes. Games, competitions and musical items took up the greater part of a pleasant afternoon. A sales tablq was well 1 filled with a variety of useful articles and Jhe steady sales benefited the social fund. A' pianoforte duet was presented by Mrs Warbrick and Miss . Jo Anderson while several duets were sung by Misses Riini and Norma Howell. The special birthday cake was made and donated by Mrs R. Wilson.

Best vegetable, Mrs Jamieson I,' Mrs Conn 2, Mrs Withy 3.
