WHAKATANE HAS TWO GAMES TOMORROW The Whakatane senior Cricket competitions will continue on Sunday with games at Waimana and Te Teko, while two further noncompetition games are scheduled for Whakatane tomorrow. On Sunday Edgecumbe is to meet Waimana on the latter’s home ground and P. and T. plays Te Teko at -Te Teko. The games will be all day matches. Taneatua has the bye this week. Tomorrow Whakatane United is to hold a trial game between teams selected from its own members to pick a team to represent the club in the Williams Cup challenge. P. and T. will play Te Puke tomorrow _ at Whakatane also. EDGECUMBE TEAM TO PLAY WAIMANA Edgecumbe cricket team to meet Waimana at Waimana on Sunday will be selected from the following players: L. Thurlow- (Capt), K. Tunnicliffe, E. W. Tunnicliife, T. Brown, K. Watson, R. Hill, B. Andrews, J. Meikle, A. Blake, W Plank, B. Wilson and S. Kirkwood. All players to assemble at the Edgecumbe Hotel, transport leaving for Waimana at 8.30 a.m. ■ WEEK-END TEAMS The following P. and T. Cricket Club players are to meet at the Whakatane Domain at 8.45 a.m. on Sunday to play Te Teko at Te Teko: , J. B. Rivett, F. Paton, Cleland, Malaquin, Shapley, W. R. Whiteside, Te Naiti, Witcher, Storer, Emmerson, Bridges, Littlejohn. The United Cricket Club will conduct a trial game between members. tomorrow. Folowing are the teams: — A team: D. Carling, J.
