Every Bill A Bad One
Every bill brought before the House of Representatives is a bad one according to the Leader of the Opposition, said Mr E. L. Cullen, Minister of Agriculture, in an election address at Edgecumbe this week. Yet, when they were passed and became law it was a different story, he added. When the Nationalists were wooing the people for votes they supported the legislation introduced by the Labour Government and told everyone that if they were elected they would carry it on, the Minister declared.-
