Bright Evening At Fire Brigade Dance
A gay crowd thronged the Winter Show building for the Fire Brigade dance on Wednesday, night, when Freddie Burt’s orchestra kept happy feet moving throughout a meny evening. The hall had beep quite' transformed with native greenery and spring flowers. The supper was excellent. Winners of the Monte Carlo for the prizes presented by Mr J. Moore and Mr T. Glamazina were Miss Dawn Sha\y, Taneatua, and N Mr J. White, Waimana. The prize presented by the Regent Theatre for the “Paleface” monte carlo went to Miss R. Williams and Mr R. Sloane,
Two other competitions, for prizes presented by the Fire Brigade and Mr Magnus Lennie, were won by Fireman B. A. Watts and Mr T. Arden.
Extras were played by Messrs J C. Marlins and G. Marx.
