Rain Mars Opening Of Minginui School
Although marred by heavy rain in the morning the opening of the Minginui Forest School on Saturday was one of the most successful events yet held in the district. A hangi lunch was served a.nd ice cream, soft drinks and sweets were supplied for the children. Games and sports were organised for the children. Among those present were Mr W. Sullivan, M.P. and Mrs Sullivan; Mr Hamilton, chairman of the Auckland Education Board; Mr A. R. Merrington, Senior Inspector of Primary Schools, Auckland Mr H.
