Tarawera Bridge Nearly Completed
Repairs to the Tarawera bridge on Railway Road West, have now. been almost completed by the Whakatane County Council, according \to the monthly report of the engineer, Mr C. Ji. Brebner. It has now been opened to all traffic. Re painting of steel girders is nearing completion The decking is in place while the posts, rails and wheelguards are at present being replaced.
