WHAKATANE MAY ATTEND N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIPS Hopes are held by the Whakatane Rowing Club that at least one crew will be able to take part in the New Zealand Rowing Championships which are to be held at Wanganui early in February. Although it is too, early in the season yet to reveal whether the club’s crews are at the required standard some officials are positive that with the added instruction from the club’s instructor, Mr C. D. Molesworth, Whakatane will soon be well in New Zealand championship class.
