High Values At Grade Bull Sale

The auctioneers, Messrs New Zealand Loan and Mercantile 'Agency Co. Ltd., report a highly successful grade bull sale at Whakatane yards on Thursday. A full yarding was. offered to a large and representative bench of buyers bulls coming forward in good order and condition. Bidding was spirited throughout and prices were uniformly high. Some realisations: £3O 10s was top price for the day for a fine type of bull offered by Mr B. Sladden and bought by Mr G. Vasta. Four others realised £25 each, 40 £l6 to £2sj~ the record overall sale average was over £ls. Two-year-olds averaged £ls to £2B, 3 and 4-year-olds £lO to £25, yearlings £9 to £23'.
