The following Edgecumbe district candidates have passed their preliminary examinations to qualify for membership of either the St John Ambulance Brigade or the Nursing Division: James Irving, Kenneth Civil, John Sim, Irwin Simpson, Alfred Learning, Irwin Campbell, Valentine Green, Neil Ferguson, Peter Dredge, Allan Sweetmari, James Marks, Ronald Jamieson, Rae Latimer, Albert Briggs, Reginald Haslam, Florence McDonald, Florence Gardiner and Constance Briggs.
