Mean Thefts
Even amongst thieves there is a certain contempt for the person low enough to rob a Church. But it has happened at Whakatane on two occasions in the past week. Mission boxes in St George’s Church were forced open and robbed, and Police are investigating that as well as a story that another Church in town was entered by someone apparently looking for some easy money.
