Colours Will Help Atmosphere
Bright colours are not lost on the blind students; green trees, flowering bushes, fresh paint, patterned materials for new dresses are marvellously sensed and- appreciated. How do they know when the school room or the improvised stage are adorned? How do they •‘see” the Christmas fire and why does Santa Claus don his red robe? How can blind girls make doll clothes from scraps of silk, choosing those which will match and suit? They can be sensed by the student.
