More Road Sealing For Edgecumbe
A certain amount of tar sealing was done during the year at Edgecumbe, the chairman, Mr H. Carter, reported to the annual meeting of the Edgecumbe Progressive Association. A promise had also been made that the sealing will be continued this year to the railway station yard on Station Road and to the railway station gate on Railway Street. It will also be done from the shopping area to the Otakiri Road turn off. Mr Carter said that the Association had endeavoured to get all the sealing done at once but was told that it would probably all be completed this year.
