Rangitaiki Garden Party Held

The Rangitaiki Presbyterian Church held a successful garden party at the Edgecumbe Manse, the spring day showing off the fine disu play of bulbs grown by the Rev. J. H. Starnes. Produce and cake stalls did good business and items were given by Robert Cunningham, Jimmy Andersen and Peter Blake. Mr Starnes spoke briefly on Maori Mission work. The decorated cup and saucer competition was won by Mrs Jaques, Mrs Radcliffe was second and Mrs W. G. Gow third. The arrangement of daffodils was won by Mrs Jaques, Mrs L. Wilson second and Mrs J. S. Irving third.
