Awaiti Players 4th At Palmerston Nth.
Fourth place was gained by the Awaiti Players in the. British Drama League’s North Island semi-final competition at Palmerston North last week. There were eight entries and the standard extremely high but in their first year in the competition the Awaiti Players competed well, gaining 70 marks, only 11 behind the winning team group.
The Awaiti Players presented the play “Sanctuary.”
