N.I. Rotary Governor Visits Whakatane
Just returned from a world conference of rotary clubs in the United States Dr W. Gordon, Governor of the North Island Rotary Clubs, visited Whakatane on Thursday night on his annual tour of inspecl- - He met and addressed the local club on the work of Rotary International and its place in the world today. He was told of the club’s proposals for the coming 7 year and gave hints and advice for the smooth running of the club wherever possible. He congratulated members on the fine spirit of comradeship they had built up. *.
