A. AND P. AND WINTER SHOW AMALGAMATION?
Although both the A. and P. Society and the Winter Show Association are still keen to amalgamate nothing further is to be done in the meantime, it was decided at the annual meeting of the Rangitaiki and Whakatane Agricultural and Pastoral Society at Whakatane. Some progress had been made, the chairman, Mr I. B. Gow, said but more concrete proposals were re-
quired. In the meantime the special committee to investigate the position is to continue its inquiries and will report back to the executive committee. . - ,
With nothing definite tcj> work on the meeting felt- it was unable to discuss the question at the present time.
